MARLIN MANIA
ReplyDelete"The Tico Times: Free Spooling, Todd Staley" article on "'Tis the Season for Marlin Mania in Costa Rica" says "If a marlin is on your bucket list, there is no better time to come to Costa Rica."
G loves Marlin! And it is great for L's awesome Ceviche. So, we're very excited by this.
The change between rainy season and summer seasons is prime Marlin time in CR, everywhere on the Pacific coast. Reports talk about a 900-pound Marlin caught last week, and say Marlin have been biting off Los Suenos and Quepos. We live just 30 minutes from Quepos where we buy same-day caught fish @Martec - perfect!
There's lots of blue ("Lady in the blue dress"), some striped and even a few black marlin.
